During this Administration, we can't let Prejudice become Policy. Take the Pledge Today!

Take Action Now:

Take Action: On January 20, 2017, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. Now, we must redouble our efforts in the struggle for justice and to address the unfinished business of civil rights for all Americans.  Now more than ever, we must stand together in our pledge to not let prejudice become policy. Take the pledge today.

“Commit yourself to the noble struggle for human rights.

You will make a greater person of yourself, a greater nation of your country and a finer world to live in.”

Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights will continue to work toward Dr. King’s eternal vision for our country. Donald Trump’s controversial nominees and his proposed agenda are of grave concern. Many of these nominees are already under fire for their records of hostility against communities of color, LGBT people, and working families. We must stand and work together to resist discrimination and oppression, protect the civil and human rights of the American people, and continue to press for policies that advance progress, not roll it back.

We must stay the course. Please continue to work closely with us as we move through this challenging period together and join The Leadership Conference’s action center.
