Use these resources to resist during this Congressional recess!

Take Action Now:

Earlier this week, Neil Gorsuch was sworn in as the newest U.S. Supreme Court Justice, after Senate Republicans changed the rules so that he could be confirmed. While senators are home for the spring holidays, voice your objection to Gorsuch and the Senate rule change by attending town halls and events, and by dropping by your senators’ in-state offices!

From the beginning of this Administration, President Trump has made it clear that he does not respect the democratic ideals that we hold dear. This was most evident when the Senate changed the rules, with Trump’s encouragement, to confirm Judge Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court. This action must be called out and vehemently objected to by constituents around the country.

We didn’t #StopGorsuch but we will not stop objecting.

Recess Resources

Changing the rules of the Senate to confirm Judge Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court is a clear example of the lengths Senate Majority Leader McConnell will go to carry out President Trump’s extreme agenda. It also shows disregard for protecting the constitutional rights and freedoms of all Americans.

What do we do now?

Now, through April 22, while senators are home for the spring recess, make your objections to McConnell’s rule change known to your senators. Make sure they hear from and see you while they are home!

Join the resistance that is growing across the country to object to Gorsuch, and to those senators who complied with McConnell to change the rules to get him on the Court.
