This bill would increase the federal minimum wage by $2.10 over two years, from the current level of $5.15 an hour to $7.25 an hour.

LCCR supported this bill, which provided the first minimum wage increase for working Americans since 1997. The increase was a modest one relative to the rate of inflation since the last increase.
