The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights

LCCR, the nation's premier civil and human rights coalition, is comprised of more than 200 organizations representing a wide diversity of people and issues. By working together, we can more effectively promote the enactment and enforcement of effective civil rights legislation and policy. 

Each member organization plays a vital role in our efforts to ensure equality and opportunity for all, and LCCR is pleased to welcome seven organizations to the coalition:

• Hip Hop Caucus works in urban communities to encourage young people to participate in politics.
• National Association of Consumer Advocates represents consumers victimized by fraudulent, abusive and predatory business practices.
• 9to5 (National Association of Working Women) promotes family-friendly workplace policies for low-wage women
• National Consumer Law Center helps consumers, their advocates, and public policymakers use consumer laws on behalf of low-income and vulnerable Americans.
• PolicyLink is a national research organization that works to advance economic and social equity.
• Project Vote works to increase voter registration and turnout among members of historically underrepresented communities
• South Asian Americans Leading Together (SAALT) advocates around issues affecting South Asian communities
• National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) is the nonpartisan leadership organization of
  the nation's more than 6,000 Latino elected and appointed officials
