National Fair Housing Alliance and Ad Council Team Up to Fight Predatory Lending

The
National Fair Housing Alliance (NFHA) and the Ad Council have partnered on a national multimedia Anti-Predatory Lending PSA campaign. The twenty-four month outreach campaign will include TV and radio PSAs and print ads, all designed to educate homeowners about fraudulent and discriminatory lending practices.
NFHA-sponsored trainers will also travel to national, regional, and local conferences and meetings to educate communities about spotting and avoiding fraudulent lending schemes. These trainers include such national predatory lending authorities as Ira Goldstein (The Reinvestment Fund), Stephen Dane (Cooper, Walinski, Cramer), and Shanna Smith (NFHA).
Organizations that would like NFHA to send, at no cost, a "road warrior" to provide an interactive training at upcoming conference workshops or events, should send an email response to National Education Coordinator,
Russell Thomas, identifying the event, the time, and number of expected attendees.
