Advocating for an end to the partisan obstruction that has stalled the Senate confirmation of qualified judges, The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights this week welcomed President Obama’s announcement of seven new judicial nominees. The nominations reflect the “President’s historic commitment to advancing a diverse judiciary that looks like America,” said Nancy Zirkin, executive vice president of The Leadership Conference.
