Latest NewsSCOTUS to Hear ‘Motor Voter’ Case. The U.S. Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on Monday, March 18, in Arizona v. Inter Tribal Council of Arizona (ITCA), Inc., a case brought by the state of Arizona challenging the primacy of the federal National Voter Registration Act (NVRA or the “motor voter” bill) in regulating federal elections. *** Japan Honors Floyd Mori. The Leadership Conference this week was proud to see Shiro Floyd Mori, former national executive director and former national president of the Japanese American Citizens League (JACL), receive the Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette from the government of Japan.
