LCCR held its 33rd annual Hubert H. Humphrey Civil Rights Award Dinner last night in the Hilton Washington's International Ballroom in Washington, D.C., honoring FDIC Chairman Sheila Bair and green jobs activist Van Jones.

Supreme Court Justice David Souter to Retire in June
Supreme Court Justice David Souter has announced he will retire from the U.S. Supreme Court at the end of the current term in June. Throughout his tenure on the Court, Souter has voted in support of civil and human rights in a wide range of cases.
