Victoria County sheriff's authorities are investigating threats and slurs spray-painted on the home of a Mormon family.

Steven Coons and his wife, Judy, found the anti-Mormon graffiti and threats on their house, garage and car early Monday.

"You could smell the paint," Steven Coons told the Victoria Advocate.

"Morman Die you will PAY" and "watch your back" were painted on the house in red paint stolen from their shed.
