Wrong Then, Wrong Now is an initiative of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education Fund's (LCCREF) Criminal Justice Reform Project, which is directed by Julie Fernandes, Senior Policy Analyst/Special Counsel under the overall supervision of Nancy Zirkin, Director of Public Policy. In releasing this report, our goals are to examine the use of racial profiling in the street-level context in which it originally arose and in the new context of terrorism; and to reestablish a national consensus against racial profiling in both forms.
