On September 8, 2011,  the Senate Committee on the Judiciary's Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Human Rights held a hearing on "New State Voting Laws: Barriers to the Ballot?"
Leadership Conference coalition members provided testimonies that raised concerns about state voting laws that could disenfranchise millions of voters.
